Relax in our cosy, homely atmosphere just a block from the shores of the gorgeous blue Lake Te Anau. This peaceful, super-clean hostel is a great place to recharge.
Park up by the fire in our spacious, comfy lounge; settle into a book or catch one of our free movies. Our kitchen is fully equipped, we have fresh spices, and the herbs in our ‘Edible Garden’ mean you can cook up your gourmet meal with ease.

We’re located on Mokonui St, just off the Mckerrow St intersection. Free on-site parking and street parking available. It is highly advised to carry snow chains at all times during winter.
Bus: InterCity stops on Miro St, 450m from the hostel. Head out on the main road, take a right and the next right onto Mokonui St. Walk for 300m until you see the hostel on your left.

Great free Wifi, wow. Bathroom nice and clean. Kitchen and common area lovely, allthough water dropped in the kitchen caused of the extensive rain. Staff was friendly and helpful. Last but not least the beds. Wooden bunk beds can't sqeeke... And they were very spacious as well. I ve only an average size but I bet, there are people out there, who hate small bunk beds
I appreciate the luggage storage, cleanliness of the kitchen, storage in the kitchen and friendliness of the staff.
I appreciate the large kitchens, storage for food and the cleanliness of the kitchens. The staff was also very helpful at all times. I also like the idea of cleaning the fridge regularly.
The hostel was ok
The communal areas are very cosy and the staff are really helpful. Nicely heated rooms!
