Find us on the corner of Worcester Blvd and Rolleston Ave, opposite Canterbury Museum. A limited number of on-site parks are available. Nearby street parking is free from 6pm until 9am. Get more information on the City Council website or chat to our reception about your best options.
Bus/Shuttle: Buses stop 600m from the hostel. The Christchurch Bus Interchange is 15 minutes’ walk from the hostel. Shuttles will pick up/drop off at the hostel door.

This historic character home turned comfortable hostel sits between the Arts Centre, Botanic Gardens, and Canterbury - perfect for exploring Christchurch's heritage and culture.

All car parking is based on a first come first serve basis, and is limited. Please see reception at check-in.
Please be aware that YHA Rolleston House is a protected heritage building, therefore all dorm rooms require the guest to use stairs to reach their room. For other access options please see our YHA Christchurch property - a 5 minute walk away!

Unfortunately, YHA NZ hostels, do not have the capability to enable guests to self-isolate due to the communal nature of our hostel or the capability to enable guests to self-isolate due to the communal nature of our hostel facilities & they will need to cancel their booking.

The kitchen is really spacious and tidy with a big fridge it was definitely the highlight of my stay.
Lots of good working and communal spaces, modern and well-stocked kitchen, relaxing ambience and location. Comfortable and warm beds everything was preserved and done in good taste.
