Hostel Ruthensteiner Vienna is a family-run oasis in the heart of the city. Come to discover our secret garden & stay for a barbecue!
Our on-site bar is a great place to make new friends – bond over a beer from our very own micro-brewery. Yes, we offer our own Hostel Beer!
Love a singalong? Head to the music room and play some classic tunes on the piano, finally teach yourself guitar or have a go on the drums. Hang out in the lounge or kitchen if you're more into eating & drinking & talking!

Daily pay-as-you-wish dinner that really makes us all feel like family; board games, communal swims at the Danube, football afternoons & much more.
At Hostel Ruthensteiner you will find a beautiful, home-like atmosphere with lots of inviting activities that would make it really easy to hang out with fellow travelers. We're not only around the corner from the major tram & metro hub of Westbahnhof - we're also just a few minutes walk from the lovely Mariahilferstrasse, Vienna's most popular shopping avenue. This gorgeous mixed-use/pedestrian space (in many ways the heart of 21st century Vienna) will lead you all the way to the historic 'Old Town' on a 20-minute walk - we're also just a 20-minute walk away from the world heritage Palace Schönbrunn.

***If you are more than 8 people (Group), you must first enquire at the hostel before booking. We are NOT obliged to honor group bookings (that also goes for groups that split their booking)! Thanks for your understanding.

Bardzo miłe odkrycie, świetna atmosfera z ogrodem, barem, kolacjami. Przyjemny pokój. Idealny pobyt!
Personel był bardzo gościnny, pokoje, pomieszczenia ogólnodostępne i udogodnienia są również idealne. Szafki są dostępne nawet po wymeldowaniu, co jest bardzo przydatne. Prawie nigdy nie jeździliśmy metrem, centrum miasta jest 30 minut spacerem od hostelu. Bardzo dobry wybór !
