The ITH Big Bear Mountain Hostel is the ideal destination for travelers looking for an adventurous basecamp.
You can learn all about the local area of Big Bear & the best things to do from our local hosts!
Free cooked meals & you can participate in our awesome guided free daytime adventures including mountain hikes, nature walks, village tours, brewery tours, wilderness workshops, lake tours & more!
Views of the lake are possible from all points of our Lodge!

Multiple lounge areas inside the Lodge have warm fireplaces & cozy resting areas to relax in.
Our large front deck is the perfect place to enjoy the mountain air & look down on Big Bear Village.
Free daily activities provided by the hotel include boat rides, archery, horseshoes & hiking.

Lake Arrowhead is 45 minutes’ drive away.
Ontario International Airport is 1 hours’ drive away.
The Mountain Adventure Lodge is a beautiful property on a hillside with a variety of places where guests can enjoy the mountain atmosphere but still be on the property of the Lodge.

All guests must reside outside of Big Bear Valley CA.
The maximum amount of nights a guest can stay with us is 14 days
ITH Big Bear Mountain Adventure Lodge allows children under 18 if they are accompanied by an adult. Children under 18 are only allowed in private rooms and not in the dorm-style rooms.
