Garbi is our new student residence in the heart of Sants, right next to the train station.
Here, in addition to a magnificent terrace where you can enjoy the sun, and a gym, you can choose if you want your food to be prepared every day, or if you prefer to share the kitchen and cook your meals as you like best.
You can go to class and then return to the residence to eat, and if you like football, Camp Nou is only 400 meters away!
Individual our double full-board rooms: these will be rooms for just one or two persons, with a private bathroom and a kitchenette in the room itself. They will include full board service, with a top-quality breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week, so you don't have to waste study time on cooking!
Social and fun
Individual rooms in a shared apartment: individual rooms, which also have a private bathroom and kitchenette, but in addition have a full kitchen that is shared with other students on the same floor. This category is for those residents who are more into cooking or prefer the freedom of making their food just how they like it.
Choose between full-board rooms and rooms with a complete shared kitchen, so you can cook just how you like.

Your booking can be cancelled for free if the Visa application has been denied.
A booking can be cancelled for free if you have failed to obtain the required qualifications to get into your university of choice.

The duration of the Contract must be at least 9 months between 12:00 on the day of entry and 12:00 on the day of departure established in the Accommodation Contract. Do I need to pay a deposit? Yes, and the deposit pays part toward the Damage Deposit when due. A security deposit of €250 must be paid in advance to make a booking. This fee then forms part of the Damage Deposit of €800. A guarantor is needed to stay with us, If you have a Spain based guarantor, you can pay your rent in instalments. Alternatively, you can pay your annual rent upfront in a lump sum. We only accept full-time students of 18 yrs and older. Bed linen and towels are provided and washed once a week included in your cost.
If you sign your Tenancy Agreement on or after 1 June 2021 and you have not collected the keys to your Room, you may cancel your Tenancy, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the Residence Manager at the Property, at any time within the period of fourteen (14) days of the date on which you sign your Tenancy Agreement (the “Cooling-Off Period”). Once we receive such a notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your Tenancy and will refund your Advance Rent Payment together with any other payments of Rent you may have made.
If you sign a Tenancy Agreement for a semester 2 or 3 beginning after the 1st January 2022, you may cancel your Tenancy, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the Residence Manager at the Property, with no penalty up until 15 November 2021 or 8 weeks before the start of your agreement whichever is the shortest. Once we receive such a notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your Tenancy and will refund your Advance Rent Payment, together with any other payments of Rent you may have made. We can only accept full-time students. To live with us whilst studying at University, you will need to be 18 or older. We don’t allow smoking inside your residence, but you’re free to smoke outside.
If you have not collected your key you may also cancel at any time within the period of fourteen (14) days of the date on which you sign your Tenancy Agreement (the “Cooling-Off Period”). During the cancellation period you may cancel your Tenancy, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the Residence Manager at the Property, Once we receive such a notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your Tenancy and will refund your Advance Rent Payment together with any other payments of Rent you may have made.

The new Garb Student Residence is found in a privileged location, on Plaza de Los Pases Catalanes, right by Sants Train Station in Barcelona, and next to Sants Bus Station.
From here, you can easily reach the historical part of Barcelona Plaza Catalunya, Paseo de Gracia, Las Ramblas, etc. as well as the University Zone, in just 10 minutes.
Most of the University of Barcelona faculties are found here.
Garb Student Residence is strategically located so that you can get to class in no time at all.
You can reach the UBs Library Sciences Faculty in less than 2 minutes.
The Polytechnic University of Catalonia's Engineering Faculty is also very close, as well as other higher education such as the EAE Business School.

Good to know
When you check-in we’ll need to see a copy of your ID, and also recommend bringing a printed copy of your tenancy agreement.
Some of our residences will let you to move in at any time on set days, whereas others will give you a time slot. We’ll be in touch closer to your move-in date to give you more information!
When your move-in date approaches, we’ll be in touch to advise where you can park nearby to unload your belongings.
Bed linen and towels are provided and washed once a week included in your cost.
Security and safety
The safety of our students is very important to us. We have fire alarm tests and inspections on fire safety practices regularly across all of our residences.
Private room details
In times of uncertainty and your peace of mind, we recommend you select a flexible rate with free cancellation. If your plans change, you can always cancel free of charge until the cancellation expires.
