About the place
HostelWelcome to The RoadHouse Prague! We are a new hostel that opened in August 2017 and the perfect place for social backpackers who are looking for a friendly, laid-back atmosphere. Our international staff are around 24/7 whether you want help planning your day or just someone to share a beer and chat with. The hostel was renovated completely when we moved in, so we were able to include as many comforts of home as possible, including (seriously) amazing showers and privacy curtains on the beds.
Social and fun
To us, travelling is about so much more than seeing places, it's also about the people you meet and the memories you make. Each day we have an organized schedule that includes family dinner at 8pm followed by the group going to different neighbourhood bars and clubs. We also have a big selection of board games, books and Netflix in our lounge for those who need a break from sight - or night! - seeing. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, with lots of opportunities to make new friends.

We’re located on a quiet street only 150m away from Charles Bridge. Our local neighbourhood is famous for its cafes, bars and restaurants…something that we make sure to take advantage of every day! We're only a 7 minute walk from Prague's beautiful old town square and a 20 minute walk to Prague Castle. There are all the convenient amenities close by as well including a supermarket and late-night food options.

We are located on the 2nd floor in an historic building in the centre which has NO LIFT available.
Please Note: The Roadhouse is a social hostel made for travellers who like getting involved and like meeting other guests. However, we are not a party hostel. If you are itching for afternoon beer pong sessions, strawpedos, or other such debauchery, our sister hostel The Madhouse Prague is a great choice for all your partying needs.

In times of uncertainty and your peace of mind, we recommend you select a flexible rate with free cancellation. If your plans change, you can always cancel free of charge until the cancellation expires.
GROUP POLICY - MAXIMUM 4 PEOPLE
This policy also applies to multiple bookings under different names for the same group. If you arrive at the hostel in violation of this policy, we have the right to cancel your booking as well as charging additional cancellation fees.
-Our normal reception hours are from 7:00 to 22:00, if you plan to arrive outside of these hours, please contact us by email. info@theroadhouseprague.com

Hands down the best hostel I’ve stayed in. The place is very clean, the staff are amazing and it’s super easy to get around and see Prague from here. Loved it!
Best hostel I've stayed at, and I've stayed at quite a few. It feels like you are staying in someone's luxury apartment, where a bunch of new friends are constantly coming by and someone is always baking. Every single staff member is amazing and helps create a contagiously friendly atmosphere that makes it difficult to not meet new people. I didn't want to leave.
