Youth Hostel Ostello del Chianti is situated 20 kilometres from Florence in the Tuscan town of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. Offering travellers a truly beautiful location to explore Tuscany, the low-cost hostel is perfect for travellers wanting to enjoy the fairytale hills of the region.
The SITA buses run very frequently on weekdays ( less frequently on weekends) from the SITA terminal beside the central train station in Florence reaching the Hostel in Tavarnelle in less than an hour.

Good to know
Here you will find beautiful scenery, excellent wine & cuisine, but also delightful medieval villages & world famous art cities such as Florence which can be reached in 30 minutes by car & Siena in 35 minutes.
Six km from the hostel there is a sports center with swimming pool &tennis; courts, right beside the hostel there is a park with a rink for roller-skating & a children's playground.
As well, in the neighbourhood there are beautiful treks to do & to rent bicycles & ride horses.
