Friendly, good facilities and liked seating area outside room

Friendly , welcoming and helpful staff. Always clean and tidy. Close to the beach. Bit of a walk to the shopping centre. Quiet and peaceful though earplugs do help for afternoon naps.

The facilities are spotlessly clean. The lodge is surrounded by trees and is just a stroll to the beach. The staff were either divers or snorkelled thus their advice was 100% accurate.

Fantastic hostel. Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them.Great communal kitchen and other amenities. They even had a outdoor cinema which was a great way to meet other guests. Good chill out areas with lounges and free WiFi to boot. i highly recommend Port O Call

The staff was so personable and knowledgable about the local area. I felt like they treated me the same whether I was going to be staying for 1 night or several months.

Not your typical back packets with loud party-goers it was relaxed , clean,staff were so helpful and Great value for money

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Food at the restaurant was excellent...the chef made up something special on request. It was near to the beach and a lovely short walk from town. Everything was very clean and working. I was picked up and dropped off to Cairns for free. I met some terrific other travellers who I am still in contact with. The pool was great to cool off.

It was very peaceful, the staff were lovely especially the owners, very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend to others :-)

There were lockers in the dorm. Free internet access. Cupboards and betables... to put our stuffs. Bed were clean and comfortable. A free shuttle to Cairns. A very nice place.

Spacious rooms and very clean. Lovely Bistro serving excellent food. Very friendly helpful staff who will book trips etc with local companies. Also it was nice and quiet at night so now rowdiness - can get a good nights sleep!

Excellent value for money, especially if you book early. Lots of space for everyone . Helpful staff. Self-catering kitchen had lots of chiller space .

It was good, but is a bit out of town, like a 10 - 15min walk.

That it's not a typical party hostel with only drunk people but a nice and calm place to relax where you can start to do wonderful tours (to the Reef, rainforest, Cape Trib etc.) from.

rooms were clean, location is not bad but a little away from the centre.
