Hostel Amfora

First hostel experience and pleasantly surprised. Rooms were all safe secure tidy and air conditioned. Atmosphere of the hostel was friendly but still calm enough to get a good night sleep. The guy that works there is very nice n helpful all hours of the day and night. Definitely recommend

It was decently close to where we were meant to be for an event so that wasnt too bad and Ivan was as helpful as he could be, poor bloke works overtime thats for sure.

Staff very lovely and helpful, and you get free air con! But I would not recommend Fazana, it is a very nice small tourist town (mainly German and Italian camping families) and good for a trip to the National Park. But, if you prefer more life then stay in Pula.

The owner was really friendly and helpful. But my favourite bit of the hostel was the outside veranda, so people sat outside the hostel and could just chat. This is a social hostel where you get to meet other people, which was what I wanted :) Also its about a 30 second walk from the beach! With the buses to Pula, they are a bit sporadic, so check the day before with the bus timetable pinned up on the board so you don`t wait for ages beforehand.

Location was perfect. Not far from the Pula airport. Just few minutes walk to the nearest beach and the atmosphere at the hostel excellent. Staff friendly and real source of useful information for travelers.

The manager is really nice and helpfull if you need something; he will be there to help! The location for me was perfect as I prefer stay away from cities and it is close to Brijuni NP

Staff very kind, polite, nice. Hostel structure was refreshed recently: everythink ok. Excellent common TV room. Very quiet location during the night: you'll sleep well. If you like walking, you'll reach Pula easily along the coast (75-90 min c.a., 12km) it's a nice route. There are Markets available near there, open also on Sunday. Bancomat, good restaurant and everything available near the hostel.

The property was a nice walk from the charming town of Fazana. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom and room itself were both clean enough. The wifi was good. There's free parking right across the street.

Hostel Amfora is EXCELLENT and highly reccommended to any persons visiting Pula! The staff were extremely welcoming from the moment we arrived and this continued throughout our stay. The hostel is located within a 3minute walk from the beach and the town Fazana with taxis available to Pula for as little as 15kuna (£1.50). Rooms were great, clean and with a sink which was useful. What makes it so special is the atmosphere, everyone there is lovely from the owner (who is always on hand) to the cleaning and daytime staff; this reflects a perfect attitude throughout all those that stay and creates an incredible vibe!
